simbeam

iOS Simulator, remote

Reach into your Simulator from anywhere.

Your iPhone or iPad becomes a live, touchable window into the iOS Simulator on your Mac — tap, swipe and type on the running app. Any browser works as a fallback. No cable, no second machine, no TestFlight round-trip.

The gap AI coding left open

You can write iOS code from anywhere now — even from a phone. You still can't see it run.

Web you verify in a tab in seconds. A native change means a build-to-TestFlight loop measured in minutes, sometimes tens of them. simbeam closes that loop: reach into the Simulator on your Mac from whatever device is in your hand and watch the change land live.

How it works

Native app, browser as backup

The iOS/iPadOS app is the primary way in — full-frame video and native touch. On a machine without it, any modern browser opens the same session as a fallback.

Peer-to-peer by design

Video and input travel directly over an encrypted WebRTC connection. The server does signalling only — it never sees your screen or your taps. Pairing uses Ed25519 identity keys that stay on your devices.

Install, pair, ship

Start the daemon on your Mac, open the pairing link, confirm once. The Mac is saved and you're streaming — no accounts, no config files.

Start streaming.

simbeam is open source. Run the daemon on your Mac, then pair from the iOS app — or from any browser.
